Audio Driver Causing Kernel Panics on macOS (No Updates for MACos Steinberg Drivers!)

Hello Steinberg Team,

I am experiencing recurrent kernel panics on macOS due to what appears to be an issue with the Steinberg audio driver . After analyzing multiple crash logs, I have strong evidence suggesting that the outdated driver is causing system instability. This is extremely frustrating, as there have been no driver updates to maintain compatibility with newer macOS versions.

The system crashes randomly, but most frequently when working with audio applications that rely on Steinberg’s driver. The kernel panic log consistently points to a Kernel Data Abort , with the error occurring at specific memory addresses. Here is a key excerpt from the panic log:

panic(cpu 3 caller 0xfffffe0011cac4f0): Kernel data abort. at pc 0xfffffe0011cffde8, lr 0x69b87e0011cffd18 (saved state: 0xfffffe3fb1fdb960)

Further down the log, the crash shows memory access failures related to driver operations, indicating possible incompatibilities or unstable memory handling in the driver:

x0: 0xfffffe24c5a36c50 x1: 0xfffffe299d095bc0 x2: 0x0000000000000114 x3: 0x0000000000000000

Please update drivers and make it finally completable.
