Audio Drop with Stereo/mono button on control room

****It’s just me or Switching the stereo/mono button in the control room panel mute the audio for a second or two? Or to be more correct, stop the engine for a moment?

Yes it’s happening to me also. Audio drops out every time I hit stereo to mono key command

This is happening in Nuendo 12, four and a half years later, on Windows 10 build 19045.

Any way to fix this?
