Audio editing issue - Cannot cut at the very start of a waveform

I’m new to Cubasis (am predominantly a logic user).
Iv recorded in raw audio from iELECTRIBE & am trying to cut the sample at the very start of the waveform. Even tho I’m zoomed right in, the ruler moves in small set increments, even with the snap function set to off meaning my kick would either loses its click or have a tiny gap at the start.

In the audio editor, I can place the ruler over the waveform start point but there’s no slice option. The left and right markers with which to trim the audio move in the same increments as the main arrangement ruler…

Is there anyway around this issue without resorting to exporting the audio to another program?

Hi @J.cxrpz,

Thanks for your message and welcome to the forum!

Please note that the Cubasis editors come with their own menu bar.
Normally, the TRIM feature in the audio editor lets you cut wave files as desired.

Please give it a try and let me know if this works as expected.

In addition, you might checkt out our available Getting started with Cubasis tutorial to get familiar with the app more quickly and easily.

Hope that helps!

Best,
