Audio engine not responding

hello i recently got the full verson of Dorico 6 (trial ended) and after i had activated it and everything i was unable to start the application and kept getting differen terror messages that all have to do wit VST AUDIO ENGINE 6.

i have also attached the most recent diagnostic zip.

Hi @Gary_Jeremiah_smith , welcome to the forum and sorry for the trouble you have.

The diagnostics show no crash files, so the audio engine somehow get deadlocked during start-up.

In order to find out what is going on there, please follow my advice as I gave
in this thread

hey i just get this error when i ran vst audio engine 6 i only got one licence when i brought dorico 6

as far as the P.S i see 178 entries thro the search but it does fluctuate.

I had a remote session withy Gary and figured out that the audio engine crashed because of a fault in the ASIO4All driver.
Now I’ve set him up to use the Steinberg Built-in ASIO driver and everything is working again.

Hi @Gary_Jeremiah_smith ,

I’ve been in contact with the developer of ASIO4All and he proposed to try with a newer driver version, i.e. ASIO4All 2-18
