Audio Files Stop working

Hi guys. I’m having problems with the audio files in my projects. I have some loops in my projects and the audio files stop working sometimes. My instruments continue emitting sound, but the audio files stop. Any idea.

That will sometimes happen to me. I use an MC transport, it has a shuttle ring, sometimes I accidentally activate the shuttle ring and when I hit play the audio tracks wont play, only instrument tracks. Once I get out of shuttle mode, everything plays.

Thanks for replying, but in my case it feels like my disk is reading or something like that. When I play the song the sound of some audio files stop.

Can you try backing up the project to new folder and preferably to a different physical drive?

I got the same problems playing around with the wheel and +/- button on it.
I have to save and quit Cubase to have the audio back again.
