Audio Inserts not working Cubase 11 Pro

Hi, I just upgraded to 11 Pro from 5.5. For some reason the inserts will only work on VST’s but not audio. Just upgraded to WIN 10 and still using M-audio 24/96 clocked externally to a RME ADI-2. Not sure if this would be an issue as the driver works with everything else. Any ideas?

To many ideas… to little information.
A screen shot could be helpful.

With the audio active it does not go to the stereo out bus. With The VST it does.

I have used cubase since SX, I am not sure if there is some additional routing since 5.5?

I had to turn off direct monitoring duh.
