Audio level issues Cubasis 3.8.2

I’m seeing some weird audio issues on 3.8.2 — inconsistently. Examples:

  • MIDI instruments on multiple tracks playing simultaneously via my midi controller despite the channels not being enabled for record or selected.
  • Conversely to above, sometimes when I want to double or triple instruments, and select record enabled (midi tracks), only the selected track plays (does not seem to matter if I have ‘arm selected track enabled in prefs).
  • Created a new project and the metronome level is negligible despite in settings the level is significant (and same as on other projects that are playing it fine).
  • Noticing on the Halion and on the NeoFM — the sound sources I use most – that certain instruments have almost negligible audio levels. Also there seems to be a weird mixup where the reverb level is determining the output level of the inst (and if I pull it down b/c I want no reverb, I also lose the audio from that inst).

I can go about gathering more specifics but want to put this out to see if any of this is known. I know its a few different things but at least to end user they feel like some sort of routing/wiring mixup behind scenes (I know that is probably naive).

Hi — I’m having doubts on some of these problems, I believe some or maybe all might be due to using stereo cable into a mono channel. I’d say disregard or resolve this issue for now and I can resurrect or re-post if/once I have more info that these are actual issues (I can’t seem to be able to delete this on my own)

Hi @alexi.karuna,

Thanks for your message.

Please share a few more details about your setup?
Are you using Cubasis for iOS or Cubasis for Android?

In addition, please take a look at our “Getting Started with Cubasis” tutorial (link below), which walks through all the steps needed to create a complete song.

Please let us know if this helps resolve the issues you’re seeing.

Best,
Lars
