I am new to this forum and relatively new to Cubase production in general. I am having problems when I am bouncing down midi to audio, especially with synths like Halion. Every time I try, a portion of the audio file is chopped, with the bounced audio cutting in and out (i.e. doesn’t retain the original midi programmed). I have tried tweaking the latency before I bounce down to see if that has any effect on the output and it hasn’t. Thanks in advance for your advice.
Might be evident for you but just in case : do set properly your Left and Right locators ?
It sounds like you get a bounced segment between L/R locators.
Check your vst performance . maybe its some overload on you cpu going on .
If so, you coukd freeze the instrument or disable some of the other tracks during the mixdown.
