Audio Mixdown to Stems

Am I interpreting this correctly that audio mixdown into individual track stems is only available in the PRO version?

Render in place is pro only. You can mute tracks and export the ones you want to (click option to bring back into Cubase)

Yes, on the comparison table on the website rendering in place is clearly noted as being in Artis and Pro only, but I’m finding more and more functions I would consider basic to be missing from Elements. SO basically if I want to mix down separate tr acks its:

SOLO 1 / Mixdown
SOLO 2/ Mixdown
SOLO 3 / Mixdown
SOLO 4 / Mixdown
SOLO 5 / Mixdown
…

Yes. Multichannel batch export is pro only.

You can manually mixdown individual stems one by one in Elements, but batch exporting is a feature of Pro.

Thanks all for your responses.

I have to say the website comparison tool does a very poor job of detailing differences between versions. The only item I flagged as a concern with the info available with Elements for me, was no “render in place” which I was ok to live without. But now it’s:

  • Can’t lock events
  • Can’t remove waveforms from appearing in an automation lane
  • Can’t mix down to track stems…

Oh well, still happy with everything else.
