The original Wavelab Essential was perfect for my needs before I upgraded to Cubase Pro 9. The only thing Cubase cannot do is create a cd with text of the artist name etc. My laptop cannot support the current version of Wavelab Elements, and frankly I do not need all the new features. WL Essential is incompatible with Windows 10. I really like the way it is set up to create custom cds. I have newer pc’s that will run Elements, but would like to keep everything on one system. Any suggestions?
It turned out that I found a free program, Image Burn that provides the option to include CD text as well as custom spacing between tracks. Not as cool as Wavelab Essential but very fast. It will do for now.
