Audio Output restricted to macbook pro speakers

I cannot figure out how to get the audio to play to my external audio interface (Komplete Audio 6). In the “CoreAudio Device Settings” there is only ONE option in the output list “MacBook Pro Speakers 48000 Hz”, and my external audio device is not showing in the list. So the real question is then, how do I get Dorico to play the sound through my really dope Adam Audio T7 studio monitors if there’s no option to select the audio device that they are plugged into???

Hi @jdc.saxjunky , please go to Dorico’s menu and choose Help > Create Diagnostics Report and post the corresponding zip file here.
Also, if you go to Edit > Device Setup in the combo box for the ASIO driver can’t you select there anything but the Mac’s speakers?

Okay, did it through device setup, and selected Komplete Audio 6, and now no sound whatsoever. restarted Dorico, still no sound

Please post a diagnostic report then. Or send directly to u dot stoermer at steinberg dot de
Thanks

welp, not possible. Will not allow me to upload files larger than 4MB, which by the way is insanely small…

sent in an email

nevermind I unplugged and replugged my Komplete Audio 6 and that fixed it. Strange, but it’s working now.
