I don’t know what else can be the reason.

does it click via the macbooks internal audio? - it might be that the scarlet is faulty - can you try on another machine?

I was using m1 laptop at first 8GB , then I shifted to the studio ultra , there was clicks in my laptop because of the 8gb and the vst load , its weird now on 128 gb , that’s why I asked , what might be the cause , maybe its a scarlet thing

Ok, here’s another possibility - I assume you have recorded an audio track like guitar or vocal that you are playing back when you hear the pops and clicks. Try inserting a Brickwall Limiter on the stereo out channel (i e., on the whole mix). If this fixes the clicks, you have recorded your audio track too hot. Rule of thumb when recording any audio is you don’t want the meter hitting red - recording is not where you want to boost the signal, there are ways to do that after the track is recorded. Another tell-tale sign that the track is recorded too hot is if the waveform on the track display “touches” or even flattens out at the top and bottom of the track window.

Scarlett 1st Gen
