Audio Record track sounds like 8 bit

Strange issue with C8, never happened in any previous version for me, same machine, same everything…

When I click on an audio track and get ready to record, when playing the track it sounds like its 8bit. When I click on a midi track and play a VST instrument everything is fine again. Click on the audio track, it all sounds 8 bit again. Very strange, no clue why…

Any ideas? Nothing has changed with my setup from C7.5…

I turned off ASIO Guard under Device Settings and this fixed the issue…Strange, was never a problem before!
