All audio related tabs (Inserts, EQ, etc) are available in the Inspector for MIDI Tracks. Everything seems functional, but it has no use since there is no audio in here. This is for Cubase 14, perhaps it was in C13 too?
What do you mean with “there is no audio” in here? No incoming signal on the Midi track in the first place? The audio related slots have no impact on the MIDI signal?
They are greyed out and unable to be selected in Cubase Pro v13. So I can confirm that this is a issue that needs to be addressed and fixed in Cubase Pro v14.
Oh well, I should have been more specific. On my computer these options are not grayed out, I can enable everything and use it just like an audio track.
EDIT : It’s not doing it anymore, but yesterday when I was messing with MIDI Tracks I could definitely enable these options. Seems to be fixed now, sorry for the inconvenience.
@wavefunktion Wait do you mean you have this issue too?
I don’t have v14. I was just checking v13 for you. Report back if you are able to reproduce the issue in v14.
Alright thank you!
I don’t remember routing the MIDI track to an instrument, but indeed when we do that, all the different tabs become available and are linked to the selected instrument track.
I swear I was able to place inserts in there but they didn’t appear anywhere in the MixConsole, that’s why I posted about it. I have since opened that same project in C13 back and forth multiple times to compare other bugs, so in the case it really was a little bug it now fixed itself.
