I’ve been a happy user of my IXO22 so far, however, I’ve had this odd issue today; the sound suddenly started to break up until it was inaudible.
Unplugging and plugging the interface back fixed the problem and it hasn’t happened again, yet, however, should I worry? Is this normal behaviour? Has anyone else had the same problem?
Btw, the interface is connected to an M1 MacbookPro running Sonoma 14.5
I just ran into a similar issue with my IXO22 in a Teams call, first the quality of the audio degraded, within a few seconds it started to breakup and a few seconds later there was no sound at all anymore. Unplugging and plugging it again also solve the issue for me.
Connected to a M1 Macbook Pro running Sequoia 15.6 and Yamaha Steinberg USB Driver V3.1.7
I think this is caused by insufficient power supply to the USB interface, which is commonly encountered when using portable computers. IXO22 provides a 5V DC in interface. Try using an idle phone charger to power it.
