I’m using Cubase 7, I’m working on a project with a lot of audio tracks in it. I’d like to speed up the tempo in one part of the song. I know to do this I have to convert the audio tracks to ‘musical mode’ by switching on the note symbol in the audio editor. Problem is as soon as I do this it changes the tempo of the tracks so they are no longer in time with the rest of the song. 
Is there a way round this?
