Audio to Midi Question

Using Cubase VariAudio, is there a way to increase the number of nodes for pitch data that appear when translating audio to midi? Right now the pitch data nodes are very spaced out and jumpy and I have to manually draw them in with the pencil tool to create more of a smooth transition. I tried going into the automation panel and adjusting the return time, reduction level, and spike detection range which increases the number of nodes for automation data for recorded data, but not for audio to midi conversion pitch data. Anybody know anything about this?

Hi,

Are you using VariAudio? Have you tried Spectra Layers?

Yes using VariAudio, I did not purchase spectra layers so I’m hoping for some resolution using VariAudio and Cubase : )

Hi,

SpectraLayers One is part of Cubase Pro license.
