Using Cubase 11 pro. Created VST Connect channel. Kept crashing while connected to friend so removed it from project - removed track and disabled Control Room. I now see my mic registering in the audio track but there is no sound. My vst instruments are still making sound. All seems to be routed through the same outputs. I’m sure this is a simple fix but it is driving me crazy. Rebooted PC too.
Appreciate any help troubleshooting. PS. recoding seems to work even though there is no sound (audio channel monitor on for recording and off for playing)
Well this is embarrassing. The problem seems to be with my headphones. Weird that they picked up the instruments fine but not the vocals but as soon as I tried another pair I heard both.
