Audio tracks disappear after recording

I’ve been having a weird issue sometimes where I record some audio and the when I hit STOP, the newly recorded content on the tracks disappears. All the record enabled tracks show the new take being recorded (boxes extending to the right) but then they go away. It can happen in an existing session where audio has been (successfully) recorded on the same tracks, so everything’s set up right, and I’ve definitely rec. enabled the tracks. Once in this state the same thing happens on subsequent attempts to record. No errors/warnings; everything in “Device Setup”, “VST Audio System”, etc. looks fine.

Anybody else seen something like this? Very troubling.

Take a look at the recording modes. There is an option that when you hit record while recording that it deletes immediately the take and starts again from the same point. Maybe there is a conflict. Try to play around these settings maybe this helps.
