Audio Unit V2 auresource.r file

In the public.sdk/source/vst/auwrapper folder there is a file called auresource.r

This file does not seem to be used anymore (I believe it was used with the rez command). Is this a leftover? How is the data that was necessary for the plugin now provided to the audio unit?

Oh, this is not used by the OS since many years now. The way to provide this information is via the Info.plist nowadays.
