Audio won’t play or audio being distorted

I have an iPad 8th gen and I recently got cubasis 3 and i load up the app and it would not let play the track the bar was not moving unless I connect headphones and sometimes that doesn’t work and the audio becomes distorted it my iPad does this with other apps too

Thank you for your message and welcome to the forum.
We are sorry to read about your issues with Cubasis.

Please give the following steps a try:

  1. Set “Audio Engine Latency” (located under Setup/Audio) to “OFF”.
  2. Load the “New Project” template.
  3. Close all running apps, including Cubasis.
  4. Fully shut down the iPad.

Please let me know if this helps to immediately resolve your current issue.

Hi @Jay_Zotik again,

In addition, it would helpful for us to get more information about the problem:

  • When encountering the problem, does the playback of a different DAW works?
  • Does one /or all steps below help to immediately resolve the problem?

(1) Closing Cubasis
(2) Restarting the iPad
(3) Disabling “Studio Quality” (located under Setup/Audio)

Just to make sure, your iPad model does not come with the USB-C connector option, correct?

To answer your questions no it didn’t fix the problem and the same problem happens with other daws so it could be the latest ipad iOS version because the app works fine on my phone

No i have a iPad 8th gen it comes with the lightning charger
