For flagged notes I offset the augmentation dot, but it offsets to far to the right. Is there a setting I can change for that?

You can move them individually, as @TonH indicates, but I don’t think there is a global setting for this.
What music font are you using? In Bravura, it seems to be pretty close to the flag.

Thanks. I’m not using Bravura.
In Engraving options, notes->stems there are options for adjusting how dots appear with flagged notes. Maybe that will help. I use the 2nd option, but the last one might be what you’re after.

I suspect that this spacing may be calculated from measurements in the font’s metadata, so maybe there’s something amiss in the font you’re using.

I think the OP is using that 4th option and just wanting to adjust the distance between the dot and the flag.
