anybody has used Auto Align Post 2?
is it similar to The nuendo´s Audio Alignment tool? Really from what i could see i think is more complete the first one. it’s worth it?
No it’s not the same. Nuendo’s alignment tool just aligns audio to a reference event by time stretching.
Auto Align Post is for when you have multiple mic sources (boom, lav, etc). There could be phase issues if you play these multiple sources simultaneously - Auto Align Post fixes that by getting rid of comb filtering and phasing issues. How? Magic it seems like.
It works as an ARA2 plugin in Nuendo.

When you have sources that don’t move around, then the Nuendo alignment works as good as AAP2.
However, as soon as there’s movement in the sources, AAP2 is far superior.
