Starting point: you have a drumset recorded with a bunch of mics.
How cool would it be to let cubase automatically find the optimum pan value for individual tracks (like high tom, ride cym, hi-hat) based on the location found in the overheads?
This would demand having a (possibly bounced) stereo track / event as a reference and a mono track / event as the part we want to locate.
