Auto reName The Audio track

this is the scenario:

open an ins channel using Kontakt.
Then add MIDI channels that are connected to that instance of Kontakt.
Those MIDI channels are routed to audio channels, at the back end, for output.

IS THERE A FEATURE THAT AUTO-RENAMES THOSE AUDIO CHANNELS AFTER YOU RENAME THE MIDI CHANNEL THAT’S CONNECTED TO IT?

Hi,

If you mean to rename the Audio Return Channel of the Instrument based on the MIDI Track’s name, then sorry, there is not this kind of feature.

You could route multiple MIDI over the Instrument to the given output. And most important, Cubase doesn’t know the internal routing in the Instrument, so Cubase doesn’t know which Output is in use for the given MIDI Track.

Hi Martin
The reason I was hoping for this feature was just to be at ease when renaming channels. because at the end, at the export process the audio channel’s name is not changed if I hadn’t changed it right after changing the MIDI name. So every time I rename a MIDI Chanel I HAVE TO to go find its audio return channel and rename that too
