Does the paid version of Dorico for iPad have an auto-chord-symbol feature? I know that the desktop surely does, but what about the tablet app?

What do you mean with “auto-chord-symbol feature”?
I’ve just checked. What the iPad has is the generation of chord symbols from the selection. Not the other feature that Pro has (generate notes from chords to write an « arrangement » automatically)
I need it the other way around. The chord symbols are generated from the notes, the piano in particular, but generally, multiple parts can be selected for such generation.
