Here is a measure of the care Steinberg allows the Dorico team to put into this software.
For the first time ever, I have a project with automatic verse numbers being a little too close to the joining bar of the system (two vocal players). Never before have I encountered such an obscure situation, but Engraving Options > Lyrics > Verse numbers > ‘Horizontal gap between verse number and first lyric’ fixed that issue.
