I use Galley View a lot and I have the same issue as everyone with vertical spacing often not being enough. I know I can make the spacing bigger but since Galley View spaces staves evenly this brings another set of problems when working with big groups like a 3.3.3.3-4.3.2.1-3perc.timp-pno-hrp-strings orchestra.
Could we have some form of automatic spacing in the future?
Although it would be nice, that would make it slower, though.

That makes sense. Maybe a “reset vertical spacing” option? so it’s automatic but you trigger it manually.
Don’t know if you use them, but Instrument Filters can be useful.

Oh yes. I use and abuse them although it did take me a while to find them. It does mitigate the problem but not really solve it.
