Automatically change NotePerformer strings to 1/2 section on Divisi

Hello,

I’m looking for a way to have NotePerformer change the string section sounds back and forth from full section and 1/2 section when the parts go between divisi and unison.

Is there a way to do this? Maybe with the expression map?

Maybe you could add a couple entries in the NotePerformer expression map, with CC104 with a value of 4 to 8 for divisi, and a value of 0 to reset to the full section. Invoke them with a convenient couple of custom playing techniques.

Much easier to place those divisi in another voice. Then use independent voice playback to assign 1/2 section to those voices.

Oh that’s a good idea. Like a different voice on the same staff, I didn’t think about that. Thanks!
