Automation help please!

I’m dying here.

I need automation values to continue on to the next event.

Lets say I record an event at :10 and another at 1:20, well when I open each event in the key editor(midi window) they are seperate from each other. I have to click on each on individually to have them show up on the key editor.

How can I make it so both show their information in the same key editor window with out both being selected?

Join the events together in the Project Window.

But I don’t want to have to do that every time. Is there a way where it just connects them for you by default?
