Automation Panel / Settings in Cubase Artist 15.0.20

Regarding:

AUTOMATION (New in 15.0.20)

Use the new compact Automation Panel or open it in the right zone to save space, while keeping full automation control within easy reach.

Last Touched First

New automation shortcuts automatically show and prioritize your last-touched parameter, adding a simplified menu for lightning fast access and editing.

Both of these are listed as features in Cubase Artist 15.0.20. I cannot locate any settings, menu options or potential key commands to adjust ‘last touch first’ setting or to open the ‘compact automation panel’ in the right zone.

Hi,

Open the Automation Panel by using the F6 Key Command. Or you can find it as the 3rd tab in the Right Zone of the Project window:

Maybe you have to make it visible by right-clicking on one of the two existing tabs. Then checkmark Automation in the popped up panel.

The only options I have with that are Media and VSTi.

I’m starting to think the website might have some incorrect info. Thank you for your response!

Are you sure you are using 15.0.20 Artist? What does the Help → About screen say?

Yes. Also I searched the Artist version of the manual for “automation panel” and it does not appear. Thanks for your help!

Looking at the release notes for 15.0.20 and the manual for Cubase Artist it looks like this new automation panel feature is only available in Cubase Pro and Nuendo.
I thought your screenshot was from the manual for Artist.

Yes, that was Cubase Artist 15.0.20. Cubase Pro has even more tabs.
