I’ve checked all available keyboard shortcuts, macros and I even tried to do that in logical editor, but I can’t firn a solution.
Surely there must be a way to toggle show/hide automation lanes with a keyboard shortcut???

Key Command Automation > Show Automation (and Automation > Hide Automation to hide again)
However, there seems to be no command to toggle Automation view.
Thanks, I’m aware of those but I’m specifically asking for a TOGGLE, like in Ableton Live. In Cubase there are toggles for showing instrument, channel settings, editors, etc. but for some strange reason not for automation lanes.
How do I get the dev staff attention? This seems fairly trivial to add.
This is already long time requested feature. Really annoy why should we use two actions for that very simple function?! Even in logical editor it is impossible to make that toggle.
Not only Live has this, absolutely all hosts have open/close automation on selected track as toggle function. But looks like folk not voting for
I thought so. The weirdest thing is that it’s probably very easy to code, because it’s not like it requires any new features. And current commands could stay for compatibility reasons.
But from my experience, it’s easier to convince DAW devs to build something new & complex, than fix a trivial stuff
I use the “Folding: Toogle selected Track” key command to achieve that and it almost work like what you’re looking for I think, and can also open/close folder tracks at the same time
Thanks for the suggestion - I’ll check it out!
EDIT: oh man, it works even though it’s a hack, i.e. it unfolds all sorts of associated lanes & doesn’t work for multi-selection. But it’s good enough for now!
