It would really make my life much simpler if I could double click an automation point and key in a number directly
right on the timeline. Or even be able to control+select several points across many tracks and open a dropdown
menu and select a broad value like -1 or +3 and have only the selected points change values by that amount.
The “Info Line” will help you. For automation you can enter a number in the “Value” field. If you click on event(s) (or even the whole track) you can enter a number in the “Volume” field.
