AutoTune Pro 10 not available as an ARA 2 extension in Cubase 14 Pro

I am trying to use AutoTune Pro 10 as a ARA 2 extension in Cubase 14 Pro. There is a YouTube video where it is being used in Cubase 12: Master VOCAL TUNING with Auto Tune Pro X with ARA2 in CUBASE 12, so it should work. Unfortuately it is not availble as an option when I try to use it as an extension. SpectraLayers and Melodyne are available and work. I can use AutoTune Pro 10 as Effects Insert, so more proof AutoTune is working, just not as an extension. I have updated it to the latest version in AutoTune Central. I also uninstalled and reinstalled it. It shows up in Auto-Tune VST Manager. It is in the right location: C:\Program Files\Common Files\VST3, but it is not listed as an extension in System Component Information. I am at a loss as to why is not working. Any suggestions on getting it working would be appreciated as I haven’t used either Cubase or AutoTune for a long time. Thanks in advance.

Ok after extensevely searching the web and not finding any solution I could finally find a solution myself … I’m not sure how stable this will work , but at least I can see Autotune again in the Extensions-dropdown of a Audio Track.

So what I did is, I have a old installatio of Cubase12.
I copied the file “Cubase12/Components/araservice.dll” ( 1.754.624 Bytes , created 15.03.2023 ) over to “Cubase14/Components/araservice.dll”.

Before doing so, I renamed the preinstalled Version of this dll in the Cubase14/Common folder an realized that from the size it is much smaller ( 931.328 Bytes created 23.05.2024) than the old variant.

So in the meantime it seams that the ARA-Loader in Cubase was revised at some point in time when Cubase13 was out. I can remember that a Version of Autotune Pro X 11 was working.

So I assume if you have Pro X 11 it will work out of the box with Cubase14 if not you need this workaround unless there will be some update ( either on Antares or on Steinberg side)

Hope this can help you
Cheers,
Alex

Thanks for your help. Your solution sounds like it would have worked. I eventually upgraded to AutoTune 11, and it works as an extension. I cannot say it works perfectly as I don’t use AutoTune in a sophisticated fashion. Again thank you for your efforts.
