AXR4U how to use silk on a track

How do i use silk emulation on an audio track that i already recorded?
can i route it into the AXR4 mic input digitally somehow?
Or is the only way to do that to plug directly into the mic input?
I saw guys on youtube who were turning the silk emulation on and off right on their track.

please help, thanks.

I’ve not seen the video of turning silk emulation on in the track.

The only way I can think of doing it like you might apply a plugin would be to route the AXR inputs in as you said via cables and set it up as an external effect.
