Backbone has been working as intended but suddenly out of the blue I get this message when I try to instantiate Backbone:
“The plugin could not be made active because an AAE error was encountered.
AAE error -7054 was encountered.”
Any suggestions?
This is a error message from Avid, so it is coming from Pro Tools. Have you tried to find a solution in an Avid Forum?
Was there any change in Pro Tools, or did you install/uninstall something there? I would definitely look on that side first.
No worries, problem solved.
Removed all instances of Backbone, restart, reinstall, restart and now it seems to work.
