Backup of Cubase 8.5 before un+reinstalling: Got everything?

Hi,

So, after beginning to give up the hope for a solution regarding this other topic Suddenly no sound from my Scarlett 18i8 to Cubase? - Cubase - Steinberg Forums I am going to try to reinstall Cubase today and just to make sure I got everything I want to go through this. I have made backups of a zip of where:

  1. all my projects are stored (I called this folder Cubasefiles)
  2. the VST3presets folder
  3. Users / App Data / Roaming/ steinberg

After reinstalling I just want to replace the new folders with the old ones. Am I doing this right?

As posted on other thread, I believe the solution is to uninstall AVG or Avast that are causing failure of Focusrite ASIO drivers.

EDIT: Supposedly a beta driver also available that fixes the problem.
