Bad slow down when zooming in on project window

When zooming in to a waveform in the main project window Cubase comes to a standstill. Locks up for around 10 seconds. I’m pretty sure this wasn’t happening with earlier versions.

I’m running Cubase 10.0.20 on a fast 64 bit Windows 7 machine.

Only freezes/slows when zoomed in near max zoom. Makes editing very frustrating!
