Is it, or will it be possible to split bar lines across piano stave, so they do not clash with lyrics. In Sibelius it is just a matter of dragging a handle down and they sort themselves out.
There’s a Choir Reduction instrument for precisely these purposes. You can always add it to an existing Player or as a new Player, click the relevant player drop down arrow (still in Setup mode) and change the name of the instrument (instrument, not player) to Piano.
