is it possible to hide some 8 bars section of a tab? A solution may be the manual show hide feature of a staff in D3.5, but not too expereinced yet…
My aim:
Only the standard notation should be visible with additional TAB. You see a rhythm notation section in the attached file. Here the Tab should be hidden as a long as I use the slash notation…

I’m afraid at the moment there’s no way to hide tablature independently of its linked notation, sorry.

Has this feature been made possible since last year? I do a lot of guitar transcriptions and need to be able to mix rhythm and lead parts (lead requires tab and rhythm does not).

Welcome to the forum, @G-Man. I’m afraid it’s not yet possible, no. We may consider making this possible by way of the existing Manual Staff Visibility dialog, but as yet it’s not something that we have implemented. Sorry!

Adding Manual Staff Visibility to the Tablature staff would be wonderful! Especially making layouts that have multi measure rests, getting rid of the Tab staff selectively would be such a help!
Any update on this one in 2025? Would be very much appreciated - as when preparing teaching materials, sometimes you need TABs for just certain sections. And if I write for instance rhythm notation on the normal staff, it looks absolutely horrible on the tablature staff…
Not yet, but perhaps ity will appear along with other cutaway features. On the other hand, doing cutaway for TAB make be consigned to a second round upgrade.
