Bass Instruments are an octave too high in Score

I struggled with this problem in C14, too!
Different sample librarys use different octaves, so that the MIDI notes that have to be used don´t show up in the right octave in notation. Instrument types and clefs are too limited to have the notes show up in the correct octave.
Was no problem in the old score editor, where you could transpose each staff any way you wanted it…

there should be a free transpose option for instrument types. I use a Submission Audio electric bass library. To see and hear the correct notes, I have to use the 8va bass clef, which is completely wrong. [8va] With the standard bass clef provided by the predefined instrument type “Electric bass” I need a transpose function for the samples in use. Aa 8vb clef, to show that the bass is an octave transposing instrument would be fine, too. Again, works only with a transpose function. The maker…
