Batch Export for concert recording

Hi All, maybe I’m just not finding a feature that I’m looking for. I’m on Cubase 13. The situation is that I record a whole concert, and I want to create tracks out of the individual pieces. What I normally do is load the whole recording into a Cubase session. Most of the mixing settings apply to all of the pieces, and I will just make minor adjustments in each piece with automation.

This applies to a rock band, but also to an orchestral concert (I record both).

What I would like to do set up the generic mix based on one song or piece, then use automation to adjust each track, then export each to an audio mixdown.

I thought the batch export would do this, but it turns out it only works on one locator setting. In my video software (Davinci Resolve), you can batch up exports from different in and out points. This turns out to be very handy when the exports take a lot of time.

Have I missed a feature?

Thanks in advance for advice.

Hi,
the locator setting is fixed but you can also use different cycles from the marker track:

Thanks, Reco29, for pointing me in the right direction. I use the marker track, but I haven’t used cycle markers before. I will play with that. Sounds like it should work. It will save me a lot of time.

Thanks, Reco29, for explaining how cycle markers work in exports. It works, and I’ve been using it. I don’t think I would have found it without your help. It’s not as blatantly obvious as it is in video editing software.
