Can someone help me figure out how I can include group inserts/effects on batch export? For example, when working on EDM tracks I have a bus with a sidechain/ducking plugin inserted and I just route whatever tracks I want with that effect to it. Problem is, when I go to export multitracks the channels being sent to this group are printed without the effect. Is there a way to include this?
Don’t side chain the buss side chain the tracks instead.
This is certainly an option, but it would result in many, many instances of the same plugin. Additionally if I want to change the sidechain settings I have to then go through every single instance. After more digging I did find an okay workaround with Render In Place. Hopefully Steinberg implements this in the batch export at some point! It would be a huge time saver.
