Batch processing error "Select a layer"

I’m trying to clean up a number of live recordings using “Unmix Song”. So I started the Batch processor, chose some files, clicked on Module Chain, chose “Unmix Song” and adjusted the settings. However, when I now click on Apply (either in the Unmix Song or Module Chain window), an error message pops up: “Select a layer”:

If I read the documentation correctly, I can/should name a layer that the plugin will be applied to, but I don’t know what to enter there - I can’t find any info about placeholder variables (such as %FILENAME% etc.) in the documentation.

I’m probably missing something obvious, but I can’t see what…

If you’re doing Batch Processing, only Apply in the Batch Processing dialog - it makes no sense to apply a Module Chain or a Module if no project is opened yet.
