I was having all kinds of problems with WL recently on my PC. Then I discovered that some “other” program had installed AVAST on my computer. WL would lockup, stutter, plugins would not work and when I removed AVAST with their uninstaller (have to do it in the SAFE MODE) everything was back to normal. Just a word to the wise. I wish companies would not install other software when you are installing their software. The software that installed AVAST was CCleaner.
Yes. Other software installed ‘by stealth’ is a constant annoyance. It means we have to be wary all the time. So called virus protection software often causes more problems than they solve. I don’t go anywhere near them.
