Beam grouping in Dorico 5

I am following the tutorial on liturgical music Tutorial: Typesetting choral Preces and Responses in Dorico – Dorico
and I have tried to change beam grouping to get a double whole note (breve) then two crotchets in one bar. I really can’t find how to do this and I have a 10/4 bar with ties across the separate longer notes. I am a beginner with Dorico and I’m not sure how best to alter note grouping - maybe the caret? Thank you

Try entering [8+1+1]/4 into the time signature popover. Does that work?

Thank you very much, @DanielMuzMurray, it works when I use Force Duration. I looked in the wrong places - problem solved!
