beam groups in existing music (feature request)

Hi all,

I’m in 4/4 and the eight notes are grouped by default in groups of 4;
Now I want in the whole piece the eight notes in groups of 2;
Would’nt it be great if you just entered in the shift-M popover [1+1+1+1]/4 with the result of all the eight notes beamed in groups of 2?

True enough, but it’s also a notation option in the 2nd section of the “Beam Groupings” segment of “Notation Options” (Quarter note denominator time signatures with half-bars)
