Complete noobian here to Cubase. Been using 13 for a couple weeks now and I’m trying to go through a Beat Designer tutorial but I can’t, for the life of me, find it. It’s supposed to be under Midi Inserts in the Inspector bar but I don’t see it listed there. I’ve tried under various track types. Nothing under Inserts, Midi Modifiers or other others. Am I blind?
Inspector - Midi Inserts - BeatDesigner.
If you can’t see the Midi-Insert. You need to expand the section by doing a right click in it, in an empty space.
You also need to be on Artist or Pro to even have MIDI Inserts
Thanks Nevermore and Raino. Turns out it’s bc I have just an Elements license which doesn’t include it. Are there any alternatives to it in the Elements kit? Doesn’t look like I can get it as an al la carte item.
hm the Drum Midi Editor is pretty good. U can work in there pretty fast, maybe u need some self made shortcuts like switching the quantise settings , and so on .

I’ll check it out. Thank you!
