Beethoven Symphony no. 6 - string repeated notes

Hello,
I assume this symbol with the dot and slash means 6 triplet eigth notes in 2 beats (we’re in 2/4)?
How do I input this into Dorico? Or do I explicitly write the triplets? This is the first movement, bar 57.

Create quarter note triplet, enter dotted half note, hide the 3, then add tremolo (which is a repeat mark). And welcome to the forum!
