For the first time using my Yamaha Avant-Grande as midi input to Dorico Elements 3.5. How can I (or can I?) 1. change sound from beep to woodblock - can’t find this; 2. slow down the metronome speed; clicking on quarter = 120 doesn’t show a slider or place to change number.
Choose from the Dorico menu Library > Playback Options and in there the Click tab. If there is nothing then Dorico Elements does not have the option to change the metronome sound.
A workaround then could be to route the output of the tempo track to a slot of a HALion Sonic instance.
Regarding your other question, I don’t know any more how that looked like in 3.5 but in 6 you have to click on that quarter note in order to change from fixed to variable tempo mode and then you can double click on the tempo value to change it.
